Good design is based on symbols and their accompanying emotions.

Suffice to say that there is some SHOCK in this photo-assemblage. It's Wallpaper magazine. The nuances of the color treatments and the objects used in the shoot, to me, are less significant than the idea that we're seeing this kind of eroticism in a mainstream publication.

I do admire your perspective, and in some regards my tastes agree. I do know, however, that erotic taste varies wildly from one person to the next, once the facade is truly pulled back. So I welcome the introduction of intelligent dialogue on it, especially when it's creative leaders like Knight and Saville.

I'm compelled to say so much more. But… this is part of the beginning, rather than the end!
